RATES
Rates are per 24-hour day and do not include non-refundable insurance/consumable fee $25 per day
Prices are subject to change and are not guaranteed until a booking deposit is made.
REFUNDABLE BOND $2500
FUEL
Charterer refuels boat on return or fuel charged to bond plus additional fee of $30.
REPOSITIONING FEE
$600 to sail one-way Auckland/Bay of Islands. $600 to reposition to Picton from Marlborough Sounds region.
EXTRAS:
Latitude Charters will provide the following at an additional cost
Skipper NZ $575 per day plus food
Snorkeling Gear
3 day minimum at public holiday weekends (except Easter: 4 days) and 7 day minimum 20 December - 15 January.
BOOKING INFORMATION
BOOKING PROCEDURE:
1. Go to – Charters – Book a Charter, fill out the information and send it to us. Alternatively:

2. Latitude Charters will forward an invoice, charter agreement, bond form, skipper resume and crew list for your completion.
3. Booking is held for 7 days.
4. To confirm your booking return your 25% deposit in terms of the payment summary.
DEPOSIT AND CONFIRMATION:
A deposit of 25% of the total charter fee is required within 7 days of booking, to confirm your charter.
BALANCE OF PAYMENT
Payment in full is required 60 days prior to charter commencement date
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellations made prior to 60 days before the commencement of charter will result in a refund of deposit less a NZ$250 administration fee. Cancellations made less than 60 days from the commencement of charter will result in a refund, less cancellation fee, ONLY if a substitute charter can be booked.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Latitude Yacht Charters recommends all charterers avail themselves of cancellation insurance for in the event your charter is cancelled for reasons beyond your control. Latitude Charters cannot make refunds for cancellations due to inclement weather.
$2500 SECURITY BOND:
This is fully refundable after your charter, less deductions for any loss or damage, when boat checks have been completed. The Bond payment is payable prior to departure in cash or by credit card (Cheques must be received 7 days prior to departure).

CHARTER PICK UP TIMES:
Between 1000 and 1600 hours, 7 days

BRIEFING
Following your checking-in an extensive briefing will be given on your vessel, including navigation, anchoring, safety and practical boat handling. The brief will also include information on anchorages and points of interest within your preferred cruising ground.
SAFETY:
Your Latitude vessel meets all safety requirements in terms of the New Zealand Maritime Safety Authority (Maritime NZ) and has undergone an extensive check before you board.
OUR CHARTER BASES:
Latitude Charters North is located at the corner of Beaumont Street and Westhaven Drive in central Auckland. Yachts are based next door at Pier 21, Westhaven Marina. The base is a 40 minute drive from Auckland Airport and within a 10 minute walk to the downtown waterfront.
Latitude Charters South is located at the corner of Wellington Street and London Quay on the Picton foreshore at the gateway to Queen Charlotte Sound. Yachts are based next door at Picton Marina.
PROVISIONING:
Pre-order your food and drink to save time on arrival and the hassle of preparation by using our full catered menu options. Various menu's are pre-prepared by local Chef's using fresh, regional produce.
Alternatively your charter boat can be stocked with provisions you have selected from our "self select" list. Our self provisioning option allows for partial or full provisioning, children and special diets. You pay the actual price plus 20% service fee (Minimum fee $50).
All provisioning will be checked and appropriately stored prior to your arrival, including refrigerated goods and refrigeration chilled down in advance.
